Good start to stop bad drugs
The nightly prescription-drug-induced agony of Tim Fagan, a young liver transplant patient from Deer Park, has become the inspiration for much-needed legislation to curb the counterfeiting of drugs. His representative in Congress, Steve Israel (D-Huntington), knows it will be an uphill fight to get the bill passed, but he's absolutely correct to make the effort.
