Police arrest 17 in alleged fake drugs gang
Police have cracked a ring involving at least 26 people, which they allege has been a major dealer in counterfeit pharmaceuticals in Fuyang City, east China's Anhui Province.
In a joint operation with the city's food and drug administration, police arrested 17 alleged members of the ring and seized 339 items of counterfeit drugs worth more than three million yuan (370,000 U.S. dollars).
