Prompt action has been taken: Naveen
BHUBANESWAR: With his back to the wall over Minister of State for Health Duryodhan Majhi s statement that he (Majhi) apprised him about the proliferation of spurious drug manufacturing and trade in Orissa much before, a red-faced Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik came out in his own defence on Monday.
Naveen said he had directed for prompt action whenever sale of substandard drugs in the State was brought to his notice. He said Majhi had reported certain discrepancies in the manufacturing of drugs by two phamaceutical companies twice in the past.
