Canadian Government Alert: Websites Suspected of Fake Drugs

Health Canada is alerting consumers that prescription drugs purchased from www.northdrugmart.com, www.northdrugstore.com, and www.pharmacyrxworld.com are suspected of being counterfeit. Health Canada has identified prescription drugs for sale on these websites have not been authorized for sale in Canada, and yet they reference brand names and resemble drugs that have been authorized for sale in Canada.

Consumers who have purchased from these websites should consult with their healthcare practitioner.

According to the Ontario College of Pharmacists, these websites are not associated with a licensed pharmacy in Ontario. In addition, some products sold on these sites are not authorized for sale in Canada.
