Ho Chi Minh City police have arrested 14 people who are allegedly members of a fake medicine production ring that police have been following for over a year.

The fake drug manufacturer, called Vietnam-France Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, was allegedly run by Huynh Ngoc Quang, 29, who has not yet been arrested, reports Tuoi Tre News of Vietnam.
In January of last year, police intercepted an employee of Vietnam-France Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company delivering fake drugs and based upon his testimony, seized 18 packages of fake drugs from the company offices. In addition, they seized fake medicine packages from ten stores across Ho Chi Minh City and twelve packages from a storage facility.
