PSM India Founder Addresses Federation for International Pharmaceuticals
“Just one unsafe medicine threatens patient safety,” said Mr. Bejon Misra, founder of the Partnership for Safe Medicines India, as he urged stakeholders to work together for a safer supply chain.
Misra addressed the Federation for International Pharmaceuticals (FIP) symposium on counterfeit medicines in Hyderabad, September 6, 2011. He urged all stake holders to work together to educate and help protect patients around the globe.
Misra highlighted the importance of educating consumers to report adverse reactions from medicine in order to report unethical practices and expose the culprits.

The Partnership for Safe Medicines India stall at the FIP was inaugurated by FIP President, Dr. Michel Buchmann. The Indian Pharmaceutical Association, (IPA) Chairman, Mr. Bhojraj Suresh, PSM India Chairman, Mr.Wajahat Habibullah, and other prominent dignitaries were present as well.
The PSM India stall educated consumers about their rights to safe medicine. It also encouraged all stake holders to learn from modern technology from around the world to empower and enable Indian consumers to access safe medicines at the most affordable price.
The brochures and information provided by the stall executives were greatly appreciated by the visitors, including the environment friendly carrybags with the PSM India logo, donated at the venue by the stall to all visitors.
