Task force seizes tonnes of fake drugs
GOVERNMENT authorities have seized several tonnes of counterfeit, unregistered and expired human and veterinary medicines in a special operation carried out last week.
The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr Robert Manumba, told a news conference in Dar es Salaam yesterday that in the operation code named �Mamba� 233 boxes of veterinary drugs were seized. He said the operation covered Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Mbeya and Mwanza.
