Nigeria: Nafdac Destroys Fake Drugs Worth N20bn


In the last six years the National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) destroyed fake drugs that would have sold in Nigeria's pharmacies for over N20 billion, the agency said yesterday.

Director General, Dr. Dora Akunyili stated this in Abuja at the first annual international science conference/exhibition organised by laboratory equipment companies Katchey and the Drug Company Merck, in collaboration with the federal ministry of health.
