Lavrov Meets With U.S. Senators; a Tenth of Drugs Sold in Russia is Counterfeit – Rosnadzor


MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) – According to the Federal Service for Health Care and Social Development Supervision (Rosnadzor), counterfeit drugs account for around 0.1% of the total amount of medicines sold in Russia.

"We have detected around 0.1% of counterfeit in the total amount of drugs sold. I must say that counterfeit medicines are absolutely identical to the real thing in terms of ingredients," Rosnadzor chief Ranuk Khabriyev said in an interview published on Friday in the Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper.
