Ottawa warned over U.S. plans to import drugs

OTTAWA — Pharmacists and doctors warn that a U.S. plan to legalize the bulk importation of pharmaceuticals from Canada will cause drug shortages, increase the cost of medicine and reduce the number of professionals available to fill prescriptions.
